Bringing a film into existence, from the initial idea to the screen is no small feat. Each stage has its challenges and requirements, which require special attention. Our mission is to illuminate, through practical examples, these phases and to offer expert’s feedback as well as a stimulating environment for participants’ discussion. Interactive session will provide you with answers to vital questions and dilemmas every film-maker is faced with.

  • Promotion,  Festivals & Distribution Strategies– How to create ideal promotional materials and campaigns for the specific project? How to plan a festival strategy and how the pandemic has changed the festival market? How to get a sales agent and distribute your film? How to reach your audience?
  • In-depth lecture with real-life examples, strategies and practical tips from one of the world’s leading documentary experts, followed by an interactive discussion.
  • Free access to selected documentaries from Taskovski Films‘ catalogue, that are to be watched before the session as we will use them as case studies
  • Detailed feedback and advice during the live session (synopses and other materials to be sent in advance) for a limited number of participants’ projects
