Conscius leadership

Film-making is a collaborative and collective venture on which people of different cultural, social and economical backgrounds embark together. Furthermore, the films themselves have a meaningful impact on societies and are able to bring change. In order for the film-making process to work and film to be a powerful tool of empathy, the values, purpose and ideas of all the crew members must align. This alignment is made possible by conscious leadership – a practice in which we become fully aware of ourselves and others. It enables us to be more authentic selves, more productive and understanding collaborators and more focused leaders who maximize the potential of the whole team. Discover with us how to achieve optimum productivity, mitigate conflicts successfully and lead a team where everyone feels appreciated, respected and equal.

WE WILL EXPLORE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Why do we do what we do? What is the bigger purpose of our work? What our work means to us and what impact do we intend to make?
  • What kind of leaders are we? How our leadership (either as director, producer or any other role in our life) affects our collaborations and results? How to embrace ways of becoming a conscious leader?
  • How can we work effectively and harmoniously in the team? How to overcome difficulties among us and reach mutual understanding?
  • How to define a clear vision that is shared with and understandable to our collaborators or team?
  • How to establish meaningful and prosperous relationships with partners and co-producers across borders? How to build and maintain a sustainable international network of collaborators?
