In a moment where documentary storytelling has a powerful role in shaping public dialogue and social awareness, #DocsConnect supports filmmakers to develop projects that are both artistically strong and ethically grounde and accompanies professionals from idea to impact, integrating creative development, market strategy, wellbeing, and conscious leadership.

Your Learning Journey

The porgram is structured around three core modules, each designed to support a different phase of your creative and professional evolution. From nurturing your authentic voice to navigating industry structures and building lasting partnerships, the programme combines artistic development with strategic tools, personal growth, and ethical leadership.

Across all three modules, participants engage with four interconnected pillars:

• Film Industry Know-How: from development to distribution and impact, within a cross-disciplinary environment
• Wellbeing and Self-Awareness: on both individual and organisational levels
• Conscious Leadership: from self-leadership to collective and systemic awareness
• Industry Networking & Partnerships: building meaningful connections and long-term collaboration

The Modules

• Module 2 — Online Masterclasses & 1:1 Mentorship
• Module 3 — Festival Preparation & Industry Participation (Sunny Side of the Doc 2027)
