#DocsConnect Pitching Mentoring @CNEX Chinese Doc Forum 2024

After a very successful collaboration in 2023, our mentor and CEO, Irena Taskovski, will be traveling to Taiwan to take part in the CNEX Chinese Doc Forum 2024. CNEX is a non-profit foundation devoted to the production and promotion of documentaries of the Chinese people. Besides annual thematic production and publications, they also organize the CNEX Documentary Film Festival and the accompanying Chinese Doc Forum, where film pitchings take place.

In July, selected filmmakers were participating in one-on-one online sessions. During these sessions, they received mentoring from industry experts and guidance on how to bring out the best in their projects. In September, they will showcase their refined works on the big stage during the festival.

In addition to attending the forum in person as a trainer and providing further guidance to mentees, Irena will serve as both a presenter and a decision-maker in the pitching forum. She will also deliver her renowned masterclass, “From The Idea to The Screen” which will equip participants with invaluable industry knowledge and inspire them to develop their projects more profoundly.
