Module 1 — Sustainable Careers & Conscious Leadership 

A 6-day intensive lab designed to support filmmakers in building sustainable creative careers, while aligning artistic practice with conscious leadership and personal wellbeing.

Module 1 of #DocsConnect offers a comprehensive learning and mentorship experience that supports participants in navigating the complexity of the film industry while remaining rooted in their own values and creative voice.

What this module offers

The Conscious Filmmaking Lab focuses on the full creative journey — from development to distribution — within a cross-disciplinary and collaborative environment.

Participants will explore:

• Defining their creative voice and core artistic values
• Career planning and sustainable professional strategies
• Leadership skills and collaborative, cross-border teamwork
• Wellbeing tools for resilience, balance, and long-term practice
• Integration of development, production, and distribution thinking

Participants may also join as observers without a project for €1,250 (including €900 tuition fee + €350 food).

Accommodation is not included, but we recommend eco-friendly options near the venue, including Camping Garrofer. We can also support participants in sharing accommodation to reduce costs.
