#DocsConnect collection brings together innovative, playful and boundary-crossing documentaries to inspire reflection. It examines the connections between our own lives and the society we live in, asking what can we do differently when the world is ready for a new start?
We will connect from our homes and watch the same film on the same day. During interactive Q&A sessions the audience have the opportunity to share their views and experiences with filmmakers and with each other. This encourages a sense of community, empathy and shared humanity across borders – aspects that might be missing in our lives at the moment.
We aim to bring awareness and keep alive important issues that may be further sidelined by the mainstream focus on the pandemic and national interests.
