Peter Drössler
Peter Drössler is a versatile professional with a broad background in communications, production, and film marketing. He studied communication science and sociology at the University of Vienna and began his career as a journalist and editor. His involvement with the Austrian environmental organization GLOBAL 2000 as a board member and spokesperson, along with his role as an independent PR consultant for cultural, virtual reality, and interactive design projects, shaped his expertise in the industry.
After transitioning to film marketing, Drössler became the managing director of POOOL Filmverleih and was later a freelance marketing specialist. He worked on theatrical releases for both national and international documentaries. In 2014, he shifted into film production with Metafilm, and in 2018, he joined FlairFilm. Since 2020, Drössler has also been a producer at Golden Girls Film, a creative collective that specializes in fiction and documentary films addressing important social and political issues. This collective has earned over 100 international awards for its projects.
