About NEJA RAKUŠČEK:

Neja is a versatile professional with a background in sociology, cultural studies, and media communications. She is passionate about film, lifelong learning, and developing inclusive approaches to knowledge-sharing across cultural and creative sectors.

She has helped organize local festivals, led communication strategies, and worked on audience engagement. As an occasional content writer for Koridor, she follows global film trends and publishes in-depth reviews. Neja has also participated in SALTO Youth training courses focused on education, embodiment, and international communication, and has attended various project leader trainings. She is dedicated to applying this knowledge in both national and international contexts—especially through project-based learning and new pedagogical models—and occasionally works as an educator herself.

She holds a BA in Sociology of Culture from the University of Ljubljana and has expanded her expertise through interdisciplinary film training. Her filmography includes Na svojih nogah (2020), Labod (2021), and Žumberak (2022).

Currently, Neja works as a training coordinator and publicist at Taskovski Films, where she supports filmmakers through international industry outreach and educational initiatives. She has taken part in industry programmes at Krakow Film Festival, DocsBarcelona, Pordenone Docs Fest, When East Meets West, and others.
