Contribute your creative skills and experience six days of workshops, connection and exchange with filmmakers and industry professionals.
We are looking for creative talent to join the #DocsConnect Taskovski Training as part of our small international team.
#DocsConnect conscious filmmaking is an international training programme bringing together around 30 filmmakers and creatives from around the world for six days of workshops, mentoring, creative exchange and connection. We are inviting a Still Photographer and Videographer & Video Editor to contribute their skills to the programme as part of a Creative Exchange.
In return for your contribution, you will have the opportunity to observe the full six-day workshop, connect with international filmmakers and industry professionals, and become part of the #DocsConnect creative community. The observer fee for the workshop is €1,250.
Still Photographer
- Take portraits of students and mentors
- Photograph masterclasses and lectures throughout the six-day programme
- Select and deliver the best photographs to the Communication Manager each day
- Edit and organise all photographs on the shared drive
- Create a daily photo reportage for social media
Videographer & Video Editor
- Film testimonials with students and mentors, as well as masterclasses and lectures
- Transcribe, edit and organise video material daily
- Maintain backups on the shared drive and hard drive
- Create a daily reel for each workshop day
- Edit a short documentary about the workshop after the event
- Edit and subtitle testimonials for future use across social media, the website and other channels

Availability
- Daily start at 09:00 and end at 18:30/19:00, with three breaks in between.
- It would be one pre-event location visit the day before and all six days of the programme. Please let us know your specific availability on your application. Priority will be given to those who can attend for the whole duration of the workshop.
Requirements
Must have
- Your own computer and relevant equipment
- Fluent English
- A portfolio or showreel of your work
Priority will be given to:
- Final-year students
- Candidates with relevant creative or production experience
- Applicants with work related to arts, culture, documentary, activism or creative storytelling
